In 2025, we once again partnered with the Landeskommission Berlin gegen Gewalt to realize the Berliner Präventionstag, held at ZK/U – Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik under the theme “Digitale Gewalt.”
The event brought together around 300 participants from science, civil society, administration, law enforcement, and digital platforms. Together they explored how violence manifests in online environments, from hate speech and disinformation to radicalization and algorithmic bias, and discussed strategies for effective prevention and digital resilience.
The program included inspiring keynotes, thought-provoking panel discussions, and interactive workshops that offered valuable perspectives on the challenges and opportunities of digital transformation in violence prevention. The day concluded with the Berliner Präventionspreis, honoring outstanding projects and initiatives that contribute to a safer and more inclusive digital space.
Our team was responsible for the complete production of the event. We oversaw concept development in close collaboration with the Landeskommission, coordinated speakers and moderators, managed guest logistics, and handled the technical setup on site at ZK/U. Stage design, audiovisual production, and livestream coordination in collaboration with Alex Berlin were all executed to ensure a smooth experience for both in-person and online audiences.
To support communication around the event, we created visual and content assets including the program booklet, all print assets, and social media assets. These materials helped extend the reach of the Präventionstag and reinforced its key messages across multiple channels.
The result was a cohesive and inclusive event experience that fostered collaboration within Berlin’s prevention community and brought greater public attention to the issue of digital violence.
