The Little Moons Festival Roadshow was a project where we oversaw every stage, from ideation and set design to on-site implementation. This activation brought the Little Moons Garden to life at three popular German festivals: Southside Festival, Vogelball, and MS Dockville. The Festival Garden offered a vibrant and welcoming space where festival-goers could relax, have fun, and enjoy complimentary mochi ice cream.

Collaborating with a set builder, the garden was meticulously designed to stand out as a lively and inviting space. Next to enjoying the free ice cream, festivcal-goers could particpate in a contest for a chance to win a year’s supply of mochi ice cream, adding excitement and engagement to the experience.

As part of the activation, we built a snack tray to distribute mochis directly to attendees across the festival grounds, from stages to dance floors. Over 77,000 mochis were shared, and seeing people’s excitement as they tried them was one of the project’s most rewarding outcomes.

A highlight was the surprise performance by the band Rikas, who played an intimate set in the garden after their main stage show, creating a memorable moment for visitors.
