The Berliner Präventionstag 2024, organized for our client Landeskommission Berlin gegen Gewalt, provided a dynamic platform for professionals to share knowledge, foster collaboration, and promote strategies to prevent violence. We were honored to produce the conference under the theme “Geschlecht und Gewalt – Vielfalt ermöglichen, Gewaltursachen bekämpfen” addressing pressing issues in violence prevention.
The event featured inspiring keynotes, engaging presentations, practical workshops, panel discussions, and the Berliner Präventionspreis award ceremony, which annually recognizes participatory art and cultural projects with youth and young adults in Berlin. Participants from various fields came together to exchange ideas and gain insights into addressing gender-based violence, which impacts women, girls, and increasingly, people of diverse gender identities and sexual orientations.
Our team oversaw all aspects of the event, from conceptualization to execution. This included speaker and artist coordination, guest management, technical production, stage and set design, and on-site management, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees. Additionally, we developed a cohesive aesthetic and communication strategy, integrating the existing Berliner Präventionstag key visual into a unified design, including the creation of a dedicated logo.
We also produced a video explaining the Istanbul Convention to enhance understanding of its importance and application, as well as an aftermovie capturing the event’s highlights. Social media graphics and promotional content further communicated the event’s message and increased its visibility.
